The following are the procedures for the Malaysia My Second Home application:
Step One - Application
Send the following documents to us (contact us for the address):
- Immigration: Two (2) IMM 12 Forms
- Tourism: One (1)Form
- Personal Bond
- Four (4) Passport-sized photographs for each applicant
- Photocopy of the passport (every page) (Certify by notary public)
- With wife - Marriage certificate (Certify by notary public)
- With children - Birth certificate (Certify by notary public)
- Monthly income must not be less than RM 10,000.00 (Very important documents - Certify by notary public)
- Three (3) month latest bank statement of not less than
- RM 350,000.00 for those above 50 years old.
- RM 550,000.00 for those below 50 years old.
- Additional documents that can help
i. If you have property, enclosed the sales and purchase agreement.
ii. If you have any bank account, enclosed the monthly statement.
Step Two - Submission
We will carry out the following registration process:
- We will notify you upon receipt of your documents ( to check whether everything is in order)
- Complete Form MM2H and Form IM.12 of The Immigration Department for each applicant. We will notify you on completion of the forms
- You will make an initial deposit by online payment facility or telegraphic transfer to our Bank account in Malaysia (contact us for Bank account or online payment)
- Upon confirmation of your payment, MMY Services will endorse your application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Together MMY Services will submit a Personal Bond required by the Immigration Department of Malaysia for accountability of your stay in Malaysia
- We will again notify you of the submission by faxing or E-mailing you of the department's acknowledgement
Step Three - Approval
Official approval letter will be issue by the Immigration.
- NOTE: The approval letter is valid only for 6 months.
- When the successful applicant comes for endorsement of MM2H sticker:
- i. The person must be in Malaysia.
- ii. Fixed deposit with any local bank.
- iii. When collecting the fixed deposit receipt, do not forget to collect a letter from the bank.
- iiii. Medical Report.
- v. Medical Insurance.
- vi. Official approval letter.
- vii. Make sure that the passport still has at least one(1) year validation
- viii. Visa fees RM 90.00 per year
- ix. M.E.V depend on the country
- x. Applicant from Taiwan will have to fill up IM 108 and pay RM 100.00 ID. Card.
